General Information on Broker Simulation Testing
Georgia, South Dakota, Nebraska and Montana are the states that use simulation examinations.
2½ hours will be allowed for the simulation portion of the broker exam and 1½ hour for the state portion.
The candidate may choose to take the NH portion or the national portion first.
The NH state specific exam will remain as it is in a multiple choice format.
Each simulation exam will consist of 9 scored problems and 1 unscored problems.
The content of the simulation test is included in Rea 302.02 (a) (4) - (9).
Each problem in the exam will consist of an Information Gathering (IG) section and a Decision Making (DM) section. Math calculations are now included.
Once an answer is chosen and candidates moves on to the next question, they will not be able to go back to change their choice.

There is an additional simulation test that is for purchase. If candidates choose to purchase this 4 problem simulation practice test, it is suggested that they become familiar with the simulation format by taking the FREE sample test multiple times before beginning the purchased test. Once the purchased test is completed, they will receive a score report and will not be able to access the test they have just completed. They may choose to purchase the test more than once.
